How to use ELIQUIS
Instructions for proper use and dose / frequency of administration: Always take ELIQUIS as your doctor told you. If in doubt, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The usual dose is 2.5 mg 2 times a day, for example, one tablet in the morning and one in the evening. Try to take the tablets at the same time each day to help you remember that you need to take the tablets.
You should take the first tablet within 12 to 24 hours after your surgery. As long as your doctor tells you to take this medicine, you should take one tablet twice a day every day.
Method and method of administration: ELIQUIS is taken orally. Swallow the tablet with water as a whole. Do not chew the tablet.
Duration of treatment If you have had major hip surgery, the tablets will take approximately 10 to 14 days if you have had major knee surgery for about 32 to 38 days.
Different age groups
Use in children: ELIQUIS is not recommended in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Use in the elderly: Dose adjustment is not required.
Specific conditions of use: Liver failure: ELIQUIS is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Renal insufficiency: Dose adjustment is not necessary in patients with mild, moderate or severe renal insufficiency. ELIQUIS is not recommended in patients with advanced stage renal failure, where the outcome of Creatinine Clearance, a criterion for Kidney Function, is <15 ml / min, since there is no clinical experience.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have a view that the ELIQUIS effect is too strong or too weak.

If you forget to use ELIQUIS::
